True North is a manufacturer of custom printed and molded plastics, membrane switches and electronics with 35 years of experience supplying industry in Ontario, across Canada, and throughout the world with high quality, made in Canada product solutions.
As COVID-19 began to impact our local community, True North quickly pivoted production to produce face-shields, providing vital personal protective equipment to front-line workers. The company’s design team was able to use materials on hand, and high output laser cutters to produce face-shields and deliver to front-line workers in need. As demand grew, dies were purchased so that shields could be produced faster and more efficiently. From the start, as shields were purchased in orders large and small, the company was also donating them at no or low cost to those who could not afford the protective equipment they needed in order to keep themselves safe.
